Flash Banged by God

If your choice of drug
Does something like this
I’m pulling the rug
Giving this amiss

How long will it take
Before you make me break
My heart
It hurts
My chest
It’s tight
My face
Has turned
A pasty white
I’m melting down
I’m melting
Frown

I’m pale like limestone
Light enough to be thrown
Into the abyss
From which I may never return
Some might call that bliss
But I will call that bliss
Although this time
That throw has missed
And God is pissed
He’s added me
Onto thee black list

The gates are closed
The seraphim posed
Six wings
Infinite eyes
My ear rings
I go blind
Flash banged by God
I lose my mind
I’m a poor sod
I think you’ll find
Ridden with sin
Tainted by pleasure
Plagued and binded
By material “treasure”

I’m cursed forever
Never to win
I’m cursed forever
By countless and plenty
Restrictive measures

I write stuff. Mostly comedy. Probably unfunny, if it's not your cup of tea drink coffee.
