Dissolve and Resolve

I’m asleep
I’m asleep
Not awake
I’m a sheep
Cannot keep
My eyes open
Cannot shake
Myself woken

My personal conciousness
Does not exist
Forever bound
By osmosis
To those that surround
Me on planet earth
Our own turf
On tectonic plates
We live and we surf

Molten magma
The hot slow waves
The crust is our board
And at a snail pace we soared
Until we got where we stand
That’s what’s called “right now”
Oh is it grand
So take a look around you
Open all three of your eyes
Take it all in
See through all their lies

If you treat nature right
It will be on your side
Or it can be against you
Like when it’s unwritten rules
You don’t follow or abide
Nature is metal
Society is tin
Looks shiny like foil
But in reality it’s thin
Fragile and weak
When all we do is sleep
So wake up now
Don’t even get a peep
Surrender to nature
And don’t be a creep

My personal consciousness
Does not exist
Forever bound
By osmosis
To those that surround
Me on planet earth
Our own turf
On tectonic plates
We live and we surf

Maybe I should
Become a spider
The macro world’s
Apex predator
But cleaning up lies
Rather than cleaning up flies
Catching them in my web
Wrapping them in silk
Eat them like cookies
As I dip them in milk
They soak and dissolve
Disapate and resolve

I write stuff. Mostly comedy. Probably unfunny, if it's not your cup of tea drink coffee.
