Some Ra-ndom Fun

Bask in the fun and hear the hum
The son of God, the raging sun
Run and run
From the temple of doom
It’s all happening now
And it will all be over soon

On its death bed it sorrowfully stands,
Although for me it appears more like ‘on knees and hands’
For they are soon to be in the dirty, old catacombs
It jolts up and suddenly whispers out; “umm.. excuse me but over there appears to be some sort of room…”
A room, there it lays, hidden beyond our heart, mind, and soul
It reveals itself to be in the form of a supermassive black hole

“What is your role?” the dying entity asks
“It’s to right all which is wrong” does the big, black hole respond
“But why am I wrong?” the frail, bed bound being questions
“Well you’re both right and wrong, but I’m just here to switch you positions”

“Okay but that doesn’t answer my question”, frustrated they say
So they whip out their sword, and all over the place they flay
And then they realise that for every action they took there was a price one must pay
And boom, the realisation; “Oh God, I may… want to be alone so that I can pray”

“Never did I think I’d see the day, but it’s come at last – hip hip horray!”

McDream's Poetry

I write stuff. Mostly comedy. Probably unfunny, if it's not your cup of tea drink coffee.
